To pursue a BCA program, one needs to not have Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as subjects in Class 12th class. An Arts or Commerce student can join the course as well.

BCA Course: Eligibility Criteria

An aspirant should have passed Class 12 in any stream with English with a minimum of 45 percent marks in aggregate. (The pass percentage might vary from college to college.)
A student with an Arts or Commerce background, too, can also apply.
While some colleges/universities admit aspirants on a merit basis, other colleges/universities admit students based on personal interviews and written examinations.
Some universities conduct their entrance test as well.
